Ellie Batchelar is a Masters student in Medical Physics. Ellie works on the NIH funded project “Establishing an Alzheimer’s disease biomarker clock in Down syndrome using positron emission tomography and plasma analytes”. This project aims to estimates the age at onset of abnormal biomarker presence to inform the timeline of disease progression to provide new insights on the staging of Alzheimer’s disease in Down syndrome and will help better inform when potential disease-modifying therapeutics should be applied.
